Crimsonday L'Storm's
Etiquette for Tent Selling

  1. Please don't EVER make fun of, comment negatively, or otherwise negate another trader's pricing in front of customers. In addition, it is even poor form to do this in whispers. Different traders price as they see fit, based on what they pay, what they want, or the price that the client sets.

  2. Trader tent is for trader's to sell in only. Individuals who are not traders should not be scrolling their wares in the tent. Please assist other traders when customers or individuals become obnoxious in this by removing them from the tent.

  3. The tent is not a place for spars. Please assist removing any individuals who are taking part in PVP conflicts or sparring.

  4. Share the teaching skills if set up next to one another.

  5. Control your friends and family, if they become obnoxious with scrolling screens with numerous tasks, please advise them that this is bad form when customers are in the room. Customers purchase more when they can concentrate on what is on the tables.

  6. Please do not open and close three tables and leave for the entire day. Other traders may want to use the tables. Leaving for short periods is understandable. "Hogging" tables is unfair. Weekends are especially busy times, so please be considerate when setting up your wares.

  7. Advertising on the gweth is great, share the load here, mention other trader's goods if possible. Try to remain professional. Advertising continually makes us sound like "Used Yak Salepeople".

  8. Have fun! The more fun that we make the tent area, the more customers hang out and buy!

  9. If you see a customer giving another trader a hard time about pricing or anything in general, support your fellow trader by talking them up or if the customer becomes too obnoxious, warn them of their actions. If it continues, assist your fellow trader in removing them from the tent. No one likes harassment and we need to take care of one another in this area.

  10. Most of all enjoy the trading, making money, and conversing with customers! Without the enjoyment of our profession, it becomes a tedious task.
